This January we’ll be joining together at our City Centre site to pray and worship, seeking God as we look to be shaped into a House of Mercy. We are excited and expectant to see God move as we join together in prayer.

Our hope is that we can have prayer going on throughout the week 24 hours a day with individuals or groups praying in a variety of settings.
You can book from 8pm on Friday 16th to 8pm on Friday 23rd.

Below are some things we can be praying into over the weekend. We will be praying into some of these things more specifically during the week.
For a church that is full of cross-centred disciples following after Jesus
For a church that is a house of mercy welcoming in the marginalised
For people from diverse social and ethnic background to be united together
That we would foster the fringe and welcome new people in
That we would be a family that are helping to disciple one another across the ages
Mercy That Welcomes
Monday 19th January

Community Groups:
For the current groups running at the King's Centre and Mile Cross (toddlers group, Saturday Family Fun and belong welcome cafe)
For the guests that they may all feel welcome and find kindness and compassion each week.
Conferencing
For conferencing to continue to grow, with more 'Mercy Church' bookings e.g. supporting monitored family interactions,
For the staff team, to grow in confidence to have impactful conversations with our customers
Sunday meetings
That guests would feel really welcome at Kings on a Sunday and for more guests to come through our doors
That we would have boldness to take opportunities to invite people along to Sunday meetings
Mercy That Saves
Tuesday 20th January

Prayer Points:
Salvation and Baptisms
That many people would come to know Jesus for themselves this year.
That hearts would be open to the gospel across our city.
That we would see increasing numbers of people responding to Jesus and choosing to be baptised.
Opportunities to Share Our Faith
For open conversations with friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues.
For courage and boldness to speak about Jesus when opportunities arise.
That the Holy Spirit would lead and guide us as we share the good news.
Generate
That our children would make real commitments to follow Jesus and continue to grow in their faith.
For our children as they spend time in schools and around non-Christian families, that they would be light to those around them.
Radiate
That our young people would deepen their relationship with God and know that their identity is found in Him, secure in His love and choosing.
For salvations through Radiate and in schools and colleges, and for God to move powerfully in this generation.
Mercy That Restores

Prayer Points:
Caring for those living in poverty
That God’s heart for the poor would be deeply woven into our DNA as a church.
That we would increasingly express God’s mercy and compassion to others in practical, generous, and loving ways.
For the future expression of mercy at King's. That we would clearly hear God's leading and spend our time on the things he is calling us to.
Breakthrough in Healing
For those within our church family who are in need of physical, emotional, or mental healing.
Especially for those who are chronically ill, that they would continue to have hope for healing and strength to sustain them.
Those Who Have Drifted Away
That God would gently draw them back to Himself.
For restoration of faith, hope, and relationship with Jesus.
That this would be a year of homecoming and renewal.
Prayer Points:
Life Groups
New Life Groups to be established in the next season, particularly within the inner ring road.
That we would meet the growing need for groups across the church.
Leaders Across Church Life
That men and women would be raised up to lead in different areas of church life.
For wisdom, courage, and humility for current and future leaders.
Bridge Church (City West)
Faith for the next season, and that the church would take bold, faith-filled risks.
The trustees team to be established, and for the church family to grow in generosity.
Ongoing salvations, with many people coming to faith and encountering Jesus.
Poringland
For the strengthening and equipping of the Core Team.
For local guests to continue checking us out on Sundays and to feel at home.
For new believers to take steps of faith and be baptised.

Prayer Points:
Discipleship
Pray that God would continue the work He has begun through Emotionally Healthy Discipleship.
Pray that Life Groups would continue to grow as places of trust, belonging, and friendship.
Pray for increasing depth and vulnerability in relationships.
Pray that we would grow as a church marked by loving well one person at a time
Mentoring Across Generations
Pray for an increasing culture of mentoring and discipleship across the church.
Pray for strong, life-giving relationships to be formed across generations.
Reframing Retirement
As the first of our reframing retirement events begins next month let’s be praying that this is a fruitful time
That those at this stage of life would continue to grow in their walk with Jesus and be encouraged and built up
