Mile Cross meets at the Norman Centre, next to the Primary School (NR3 2QZ). Our Sunday morning church meeting starts with coffee and cake (in King’s Venue) at 10.45am and finishes around 12.45am.
What to expect
Everyone is welcome to join us on a Sunday. If you’re new to church our meetings can seem a little bit daunting. To help you feel at home we’ve highlighted what you can expect from a typical Sunday with us.
Make yourself at home
Once we’ve drank all the coffee and eaten all the cake, our meeting normally starts with church news – highlighting stuff coming up in church life – and then worship, singing songs, often with some contributions from church family. Feel free to stand or sit, sing or hum – we want you to feel comfortable with us. After about 30 minutes we’ll hear a talk (or ‘preach’) from one of our leaders. The talk usually lasts around 30 minutes and after that we usually return to sung worship, giving people a space to reflect on and respond to what we have just heard.
