Celebrating Volunteers

Volunteers make Church happen!

We are so grateful to the many people who give of themselves selflessly to make the things we consider important happen. Most of these activities take place behind the scenes, unless you happen to experience them first hand.

Babies & Toddlers is one of those activities. It is a great chance for parents and carers to bring their preschool children for a fun morning, enjoy a drink and meet new friends.

Our volunteers provide a wide range of different activities , including art & crafts (messy and not so messy!), singing, play equipment, ride–ons and of course drinks and snacks; all in a safe environment.

This happens every Wednesday and Thursday (during term-time), 10.30am to 12 midday downstairs at the King’s Centre.

We had a big lunch with team and families who come to toddlers to celebrate these ladies. ...

Volunteering is a wonderful privilege but from time to time our volunteers step down to move on to other things, or simply for a rest. This also creates space for new people so let us know if you want to help out!

Kate, has served for 15 years on toddler team and is now stepping down so she can serve more at Mile Cross. We will miss her fun, love for glitter and how she cares and loves the team and families

Jenny is such a special woman! Jenny has faithfully served on team for 20 years and we celebrated her and all she has given. Next year she'll be 21 😉

And we celebrated Lynn, for leading both Wednesday and Thursday teams with love, dedication and prayer, for another year. She didn't want her photo taken though! She does so much behind the scenes work.
